A comprehensive report on current nanotechnology developments within the economic and research location of Switzerland has been published for the first time with the "Swiss Nanotech Report 2010". Internationally, Switzerland belongs to the most innovative countries in this field. The report provides an insight into the excellent conditions regarding research and development, economic implementation as well as the possibilities for financing. Nanotechnology is considered an industry of the future with huge economic potential.

Call for project submissions for third series of NCCRs, all themes to be considered

The Federal Council Dispatch on the Promotion of Education, Research and Innovation for 2008-2011 calls for a new series of NCCRs starting from 2010. Applicants have until 15 December 2008 to submit their outline proposals and until 1 September 2009 to submit their full proposals.
